I do not know if there is a connection with
my ancestors or not. However, Peter Brillinger was the first to come to America in approx.1750 and was married to a Catherine
Hicks, and settled in Cumberland County,
Tyrone Township. They had 11 sons, and came
to Canada around 1800 with 5 or 6 of their
sons. I believe they were Mennonites, and
they are buried here just outside Toronto.
Also, Peter took the Oath of Allegiance in
1776 in Lancaster, Pa.

Hope this helps you out, and if there is any
connection please let me know.

Regards, Joyce
