More on the Brindleys of Ohio

from a book about Ohio, History of Noble County, Ohio, Brookfield Township, Page 428:

The present Walter Downey farm, (really wierd, I don't know if there is a relation here or not, but Downey is my married name and I am divorced) was entered by Henry Brindley, who came from Virginia in 1815. After obtaining a title to the land he turned it over to his son Benjamin, who cleared and improved it. That latter was a peculiar man, and spent much of his time in hunting, in whcih he was quite successful. He died quite early and John Brindley took possession of the estate. (On page 424, it says Benjamin Brindley was an honest and industrious backwoodsman, and lived to a ripe old age.) This conflict between dying young and living to a ripe old age has me confused. Maybe two different people???

I have a copy of the deed for this land. Henry Brindley lived in Jefferson County, OH. I have a little information on him. I have not yet proven that Benjamin was Isaac's father, nor do I have much proof that Henry was Benjamins.
