You have caught me at work without any of my notes. Last summer I spent every Saturday at the Tennessee State library and Archives. I found Court records for either Grainger or Jefferson County (can't remember which right now) that placed Frazier, George, Stephen and their Father Richard in this area in the late 1700's. George was married there, according to court records, and Frazier was as well. I was also searching for their brother Robert, who is listed as being born in Northen Ireland on the LDS site (Richard Brindley is listed as being born in Northern Ireland in 1740, accoringd to this site he married in 1759, Stephen was born to him in 1759, George was born to him in 1761, Robert was born to him in 1763 and Frazier was born to him in 1765. All of them in Northern Ireland), Anyway, I found Richard, George, Frazier and Stephen (named spelled every way from Brentle To Brindle)Brindley in the same book of court records but no mention of Robert. I've always wondered what happened to him. The others can be traced through the Tennessee counties on down to Alabama. Some remained in Smith County, some went back and forth, and others went on further west. I had just about decided I wasn't going to work on these this summer, but you're starting to pique my interest again. Let me know the specifics of what you want to know. If I can, I'll get it to you. Linda
