I have been searching for our families English roots for 25 years and have just found them through Gordon Brindley aka Richard Brindley who wrote the Brindley book. Gordon and I go back to the same person Joseph brother of James the canal engineer. He has done the DNA test through Oxford which has 10 markers. To compare apples to apples I have done the same at Oxford. I'm still waiting for my results but if the six Brindleys through your group want to compare with mine please have them contact me. We believe our line to James is pretty solid. Hard evidence is always appreciated.
