Yes I am a descendant - twice over actually as both of my grandmothers are children of the STOCK / FOOTE marriage and Granny FOOTE was Sarah BRINDLEY before she married. The STOCKs are from Somerset and FOOT(E)s from Wiltshire so most of my research has been around those areas. Sarah's father came from outside the area and this is my first attempt at following that line. Do they connect to the Staffordshire BRINDLEYs and the canal builder so much in evidence on this forum?

Thanks
Ros
