Dear Nikki, it is quite possibly the same person. Heage is roughly half way between Derby and Chesterfield, though slightly closer to Derby. Civil registration areas often overlaped or changed over time. The only thing to do is obtain a copy certificate of Samuel's birth and find out what it reveals. I have the data about Samuel Bowmer and Anna Caroline already. All I can say is that Samuel Bowmer Brindley was born 19.6.1859 and baptised 24.4.1859 at Heage. Anna Caroline Brindley was born 1.1.1856 and bapt. 17.2.1856 at Heage. Their parents,David and Martha, also had Henry/John A/Joseph/ Annie and Mary J. Best wishes,Gordon Brindley.
