Gordon: What a great resource you are offering to other genealogy researchers. I would like to know what you might have for Mary BRINDLEY - b. c1764 in Ireland. She married Andrew McCONNELL - b.1764 in Ireland. I am a descendent of theirs through their son: James McCONNELL - b. 1789 in Drumbo Parish, Ballyahatly (East Ulster), County Down, Ireland - in January of 1811 married Sarah Smith - b. 1791 in Belfast. They emigrated to the US in 1811 and settled at that time in Belleville, New Jersey. Later, James and Sarah relocated to Madison County, NY where ultimately they began to raise sheep of a high quality. In about 1840, this McCONNELL family moved to Sangamon County, IL where they and their descendents carried on the tradition. My question is really directed at the "original" Mary BRINDLEY who married Andrew McCONNELL in Ireland. I am hoping you will have information regarding them (and their ancestors) in your database. Thank you again for offering this assistance. Diane
