Hi Bob, here is the information you want:- John Brindley married Amelia Mitchell 10th May 1792 at Wolverhampton, witnessed by Charles Mitchell and Joseph Meready. At the 1841 census, John was a steel forge maker. John and Amelia had children Ann/Maria/ Mary/ Elizabeth, died soon after birth/Sophia/ Charles/Julianna. John was the son of Daniel and Mary; John's brother Thomas 'Old Tom'was Wolverhampton's first letter carrier. Daniel and Mary married, I believe, in 1761 at Wolverhampton.(No proof thus far) They had ten children. I covered his story in my book - Brindley Genealogy. Can you let me know your descent please?
