Dear Anne, I have searched my database and found that Thomas and Julia had a son called Thomas Boswell/Bosworth Brindley born around 1861. I therefore looked for a marriage in the area. The only marriage of a Thomas was at Leek in the Oct-Dec quarter of 1860. I don't have the name of his wife. It depends now on whether you want to risk seven pounds buying a copy of this marriage certificate to establish if he is the correct one. If you do decide to risk it, please let me know what you discover, regardless of him not being the person you want. Good luck, Gordon Brindley.
