I am trying to confirm or eliminate if my John Brindley,
born 1792, in Audley, near or in Newcastle under Lyme,
is the son of William and Mary (marriage Oct. 1791) in
Audley.
They had a son John born March 16, 1792 but that is about
4 months earlier than I would expect my John to have
been born from information obtained in his army records.
Does anybody happen to know what William's occupation was?
Or does anybody relate to their son John and know who his descendents were? And last but not least, does this family
connect to James the Engineer?
Would appreciate any information.
