Dear Bev, I found three possible suspects at Audley, all Sarahs baptised at St James. 1st Sarah was bapt 1.10.1780, parents John Brindley and Elizabeth nee Cork; 2nd Sarah was bapt 19.3.1786, parents Thomas Brindley and Ann nee Becket; 3rd Sarah ( a bit young but still possible) born 19.9.1792, bapt 28.10.1792, parents Joseph Brindley and Elizabeth nee Smith. The age of consent for marriages was only raised to 16 at the end of the 19th century. Hope this helps a bit. Get back to me if you'd like more information. Best wishes, Gordon.
