Just received Thomas Bosworth's birth certificate
born 27 April 1861 at Alstonfield workhouse. Father Thomas Brindley, master of Alstonfield workhouse& mother Julia Brindley, formerly Prince. The sad thing is that relevant part of the Alstonfield 1861 census seem to have been destroyed, eaten or decomposed!!
