Have the following on my paternal grandmothers family:
Martin Dunn, born 1819 in Tiperary, Ireland
married Mary born 1821 in Ireland
Children-
Mary Ann Dunn 1846 Manchester, Lancashire,England
Thomas Dunn 1851 Man, Lan, Eng
Elizabeth Dunn, 1854, Man, Lan, Eng
Daniel Dunn (my greatgrandfather) 1859 West Hartlepool, Durham, Eng. Died 1890 in England supposedly from a fall from a church steeple.
Daniel married Victoria M Lawrence. Her family:
William A Lawrence, 1816 Ireland
married Ellen 1828, Cork Ireland
children-
Jane Lawrence 1848 Salford, Lancashire, Eng
Maria Lawrence, 1851 Sal, Lan, Eng
Isabella Ellen Lawrence, Dec. 1854, Sal, Lan, Eng (Isabella visited the USA early 1900's but I don't know if she stayed or went back.)
Victoria M. Lawrence, 1860, Sal, Lan, Eng.
children of Victoria and Daniel-
Mary Agnes Dunn, 1879 Man, Lan, Eng
Helen I (aka Nellie) Dunn, 1882, Man, Lan, Eng
Victoria and the girls came to America while Daniel remained in England. He is supposed to have died on the day he was supposed to sail to join them.
The widow Victoria married David Brindley born 1859 in England who had one child from a previous marriage, Mary F. Brindley born May 1886 in England. The family lived in Rhode Island. Victoria died and was buried in RI much later on.
Helen (Nellie) Dunn married my grandfather John Simmons and most of that info can be found in the posting Helen (Nellie) Dunn.
Any info, other relatives, direction would be greatly appreciated.
