I might be able to help you with the ancestry of Lorenzo Dow Brindley, somewhat anyway.
As far as I know I am not related to that line of Brindleys. My Brindleys were in Marshall Co., KY, about two counties over from Lyon Co. and I have always suspected that they are related somehow, but can't find the connection. My oldest Brindley ancestor is Elijah Brindley who came from England, but can't tie him to other Brindleys in the area. Supposedly he came to Kentucky from England because of family he had there.
Let me know if you still would like some info on Lorenzo's ancestry. Have a good one.
