This might be the certificate for John, the son of John and Theodosia Brindley. He appears on the 1841 Census, with his parents and brother Charles, but not on with them on the 1851 Census. I can't find him elsewhere on that Census. He lived in the right area. The colliery was Apedale (North Staffordshire Coalfield).

I am trying to find out more about his parents. John Brindley married Theodosia Tunstal in 1818. He was born in Audley. According to the 1841 Census, he was born in 1791. On the IGI,there is a John Brindley born in 1792, but there is also one born in 1782. Any ideas as to which one married Theodosia?
