I'm glad this information hasn't landed on deaf ears. I think it was assumed that early Brindley's had quiet uneventful lives, not true I'm glad to say, they had connections to many important people of the middle ages.
I shall post more history as I come across it.
If you go to this site http://www.icmacentre.ac.uk/soldier/database/search.php
you shall find Brindley archers of the middle ages in the database. Just remember to enter the name as it would have been spelled then, Brundeley and its variations.
