Walter Carlton Brindley is my grandfather. He was married to Zola Louise Boyd (who, as I remember, died in the early 1950's). My mother (Betty Virginia Brindley) was born in DesMoines, Iowa (3-22-1917). . . and she spoke of her "half-brother" Joe (my uncle). Joe was a police officer (??Chief of Police) in DesMoines. Anyone have any information?
