thanks for your prompt reply. sorry I was a little slow but I had an eye op and was off the computer for a while.I didn't know Loris was still alive. She was a friend of my cousin Erling Calver. I am descended from Thomas's grandson Edwin. Is that your line too. There was a book brought out on the family in Australia some years ago but there are a lot of errors in it. I didn't even buy it at the launch.Did I tell you that a chap who works for the "Prince Charles Trust" contacted me about two years ago seeking Brindley information as they were rebuilding the historic barn at Frindsbury. I did have thomas's death details as I looked at the New York Death registry which also gives where he is buried.
