Dear Dave,

I may have some information for you on Rachel and James Brink and family.

Rachel, d/o David Colvin & Magdaline Slater was born 22 Nov 1814 and married James Dederick Brink, 30 Nov 1836. James was the s/o Robert Livingston Brink & Elisabeth Van Valkenburg and was born 8 Oct 1818. James & Rachel had 10 children according to the 1850 and 1860 census; Elizabeth, David, Martha, John H., Mariett, James A., Rachel, Ellen, Cora and James Burhans. James died 6 Jan 1884.

I do have some information on some of their grandchildren. Also, Elisabeth Van Valkenburg is the great granddaughter of another famous Ulster county family, Christian Myer (b. 1688).

Best Regards,
