John J. and Paulina L. (Pease) Brink
Looking for some more proof and any other info on this family:
Paulina L., daughter of Levi, possible son of Jonathan (Jonathan, Joseph, John, John, Robert and Betsey (McCarthy) Pease; b. May 12, 1840 in Windham, Bradford Co, PA; m. after the 1870 census, John J. Brink; b. Mar 1837 in NY. He may have been the son of James Brink; b. about 1798 in NJ, and Eleanor; b. about 1812 in NY. James, Eleanor and John were found in the 1870 census of Candor, Tioga County, NY. Paulina is living with her parents in the 1850 and 1860 census of Windham, Bradford County, PA. In 1860 she is listed as a school teacher. In 1870, she is in her mother’s household and still teaching. John and Paulina and their children are living in Newark Valley, Tioga Co, NY during the 1880 and 1900 census. He is a farmer. Pauline’s obituary (no date found) stated that Mrs. Pauline Pease, wife of John Brink of West Newark, NY died on Friday last (no date) aged 63 years of pneumonia. She was survived by her husband, daughters Mrs. Noble Bethel and the Misses Gertrude and Carrie of New York; one son Archie of West Newark; one brother, Dr. E. E. Pease, and one sister Miss Pease of Nichols. Children of John J. and Paulina L. (Pease) Brink born in NY:
