BRINK genealogy in Saugerties Ulster Co. NY

I am trying to find the parentage of Lavina Elizabeth BRINK. She was born either abt. 1853 (from census records) or Sept. 13, 1857 in Saugerties NY (from death certificate). On her death certificate, her parents are listed as John H. BRINK of Sawkill which is part of Kingston and Lavina E. SCHOONMAKER birth unknown. The person who was the informant was Ida VAN STEENBURGH HARMAN, daughter of Lavina. I do know that Lavina had a brother named John H. BRINK because she was married at his house in Catskill, Greene County in March 1884 to George Edward VAN STEENBURGH. Witnesses were John H. BRINK and Katie BRINK. This was from the Kiskatom DRC records. I have tried to locate a family with John and Lavina BRINK as parents but can't seem to find them. I don't know if Ida was confused and gave her uncle and mother's name as parents. The closest I find is a John BRINK of Kingston and Sophia SCHOONMAKER of Saugerties married in Kiskatom DRC in 1853. Does anyone have these names or anything close to them in their BRINK genealogy?
