Hi Steve, Actually, they could have been cousins, although I'm not particularly interested in the Brink's Company.
My Brink family also lived in Chicago, and is a large group. My Grandfather was Albert Everett Brink, and he had I believe it was 13 brothers and sisters. His Father's name was William and I think he may have had something to do with architecture as there is a street downtown named after him. This was in 1880's from what I've found.
If I ever find a connection to our ancestors, I will definitely let you know.
