I'm descended from the Herbert line but I can't get the vital clue that links me back to Benjamin's parents. He was born January 17, 1763 and died January 5, 1848. I know these details from the family bible which is in possesion of the Herbert Family. I also know that he was a Tide waiter and that there was a connection through this to the Herbert's ad the Oldaker family. I also know that Mary was born in Powick, Worcester August 22, 1780 and died March 16, 1852 (from the census and family bible) but I have no more than this and have not followed this up further.
