Barbara Sue:

Thank you for the telling me of Clyde Brinley's family history. I will look for it in our local genealogy library.

My interest in the Brinley line is that my probable ancestor was Mary Doup. Her sister, Elizabeth Doup, married John Brinley -- I have been told just recently that John & Elizabeth settled in Harrison County, Indiana. There is a good possibility that the children of Mary (Doup) McKenny went to live with Mary's sister, Elizabeth (Doup) Brinley after the death of their father.

So my interest is somewhat indirect, but still the information on these early (1800 - 1820) Brinleys could be very important to me.

Thank you for answering my query.
