Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

From the book "Middletown's Days and Deeds" that I mentioned on this forum--Jacob Brinley, who died in 1809, lived in Middletown, Jefferson Co. KY and left his wife Catherine (Caty??) and sons Jacob, John, Reuben, Thomas, and daughter Eve. Other relatives mentioned in this book of Jacob Brinley are Henry and Edward Brinley. The Filson Club in Louisville may help you with the Doup family. I have seen their land on the 1858 map of Louisville, KY.
