The genealogy chart above shows John Brinley in Indiana was the son of Jacob Brinley and Eve Hoke. While it is possible, the dates would all have to be wrong.

Jacob and Eve had two Johns'''John Jacob born 1753-1809 and John (Johann) Brinley (1764- )..there is a possibility this John is the one in Indiana however the Indiana John died 30 May 1825 in his 64th year, which would make him born in 1760 or 1761.

It should be noted the date of 1764 for John (Johann) is a baptism date, not birth date. Thus there is certainly a question if this is the John in Indiana. I don't think anyone knows for certain but at this point I also don't think we can publish he is the son of Jacob and Eve without some proof.

Lula Via Brinley, a 1st great grandaughter of John, said John, who was the son of Levi, Levi the son of John in Idiana...Johns dads grandfather came from Germany.
