Mary Jane Duggan, a sister of my GGgrandfather Michael Charles Duggan married a Briody in Maynooth, Kildare, Ireland about 1863. Three of their daughters became Catholic Sisters and at least a couple emmigrated to the US (Chicago area). Mary Jane's brother James Duggan was Bishop of Chicago from 1859-1869. If a Briody was a Priest, I'd look at Maynooth College, which was the largest Catholic Seminary in Ireland.
