BISON/BRYSON/WORTHEN
I would appreciate some help with this family?
My great grandfather Wm. WORTHEN 21 and new wife Sarah Ann (Unknown) age 22 lived next door to Hiram Bryson in the 1850 WAYNE COUNTY, TN Census.I have come to wonder if Sarah Ann could have been the older da. of John Bryson (SR?) who is listed in the 1840 census; see information listed below.
Sarah Ann must have died soon after their son, John Willis was born (Dec. 1850) because Wm, his son along with a new wife, Elizabeth COLPHEN moved to TX between 1851-1854. I also noticed all the Bryson boys were gone by 1860 except John Bryson JR. William S. may have stopped off in AR before reaching TX.
I would like to know the spouses of the two daughter's of John BRISON who are listed in the 1840. Also, would like to know if John is related to the BRYSON men found in the 1850 census. All but one man was in their 20s during 1840 so must not have lived in Wayne county at that time.
Thanks,
Barbara Warthen Wallace
