Mr Taylor,I'm researching the Britnell family from Fairfield
Co. South Carolina.Joseph Britnell,born abt.1740,wife
Christain.We don't know where Joseph was born,but he died in S.C.They had 6 children,James, Elizabeth,Catherine, Dorcas,and John.Our line came from James Britnell,Born abt.
1760 in S.C.Married abt.1778 wife unknown,James died abt 1815.James and wife had 3 children,Joseph James, Susanna, and John.Our line is James Joseph,born abt 1780 again wife unknown,James Joseph and wife had 3 children,John,born 1800,
Joseph Fletcher,born1803,Pamelia (Britnell)Saint,born 1805.
These three children and families came through Tennessee
into Franklin Co.Alabama,then on into Marion,Co.Al.Do you
thank these Britnell's could have been related to Peter Britnal from theFairfield Dist.S.C.We're really having
trouble finding some of our Britnell's.Would love to have
your imput on this.Have you found anything linking these two families?
