Britten or Brittan of England
Posted by: J. Britten Date: March 02, 2002 at 11:21:40

I am searching for any relatives of my father who was sent in 1892 at the St-Agnes Orphanage in London England.
His name at that time was registered as;
First name: Willielmus or Eulielmus which was translated as William
Last name: Britten or Brittan.
He was 4 or 7 years old at his admission on sept. 21st 1892.
His birthday is supposed to have been May 31st.
On the registration certificate there is a person name Maria Secen indicated as his mother or marraine.

My father tried to find his origin with no luck. We are hoping someone will give us some information to help us.

Thanks for any help.
