My ggg/grandfather was William Brittain. He came as a private on the ship "Active" in 1791. He married Charlotte Sutton. Their son was William Britten who married Elizabeth Haigh, their son was William Britten who married Ellen Foran and their daughter was Ada Britten. Pleased if we are related. Lynette.
