I'm very happy that I could help you out with your Broady family. No, I'm not related but just enjoy finding other people's dead people when I have come to a dead end with my own!
Yes, the word Cordwainer conjours up all kinds of ideas...and is so much more colourful than shoe or boot maker. I have both cordwainers and brush makers in my tree. I have recently discovered that the brush makers made brushes for chimney sweeps....interesting.
