Is there any one out there interested in a Charles Broady, who was born in Betchton near Sandbach, Cheshire around the late 1700s. His parents were Inn keepers in Betchton. Charles later owned a couple of Salt mine or Bore holes in Northwich,along with two flats (Small sailing boats that took the salt to Liverpool) he became a gentleman and married a Catherine Rubottom whose father also either owned or sailed 'flats' on the river Weaver. They married in Witton, Northwich.
I have a lot more history on this Broady line from the country Inn to the 1850's.
