Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Hi, we must be cousins! I think either my daughter, Melody, or I have corresponded with you before. I just saw your old entry in GenForum & had to answer. Frances Ellen Brockett was my greatgrandmother. She married Josiah S. Hall (b. Amenia, NY, ca. 1829, was in Civil War. Brother George Washington Hall, also b. Amenia, in Civil War, but lived & died in CT.) I canot find their parents. I have both Civil War papers, but no parents listed there or on their death certificates. I have the Brockett line back to John of New Haven, but can't find Clarissa Goodrich & her father Nathan Goodrich (he is called of NY on their marriage in Portland, CT 1804. Someone said he married 2nd in 1826 a Clarissa Blinn, about whom I know nothing. Can you help fill in the blanks? Thanks.
