There were two different Lucys. Lucy Charlotte Brockett b. Aug. 5, 1814, had two husbands, Isaac Jones and William G. Scott. She was the daughter of Lyman Brockett and Hannah Goodsell. The other Lucy, born July 8, 1814, was born in Norway, New York. She married Moses Rice on November 3, 1831, and she died in Oneida Castle, New York, on Jan. 3, 1877. It was her father that was Deacon Eli Brockett.
