Richard and Ron, After reading the latest entry on the Brockett Archive we do have to move on. I suppose the next possible source for John is Edward and Ann of Dunton. What are your comments on the stength of that connection?
Beyond that, I recently received word from the Oxford Archive that no record exists of John's son John attending and studying to be a Doctor. The Cambridge Archive is sending me hard copy on biographies of all Brocketts or Brockets who Attended there. There may be more than what was on the Brockett Archive posting.
In any case, tales of N.H. John are not the only errors in the 1905 genealogy, but he didn't have the internet and wonderful forums like this to discuss his findings in. Still, his New Haven/North Haven info is pretty solid beyond the first two Johns.
Best Wishes and Keep on Hunting!
