Peter Leopold Louis Cowper ,5th Earl of Cowper, appears to have married Emily Mary Lamb, the daughter of Peniston Lamb, who was the First Viscount of Melbourne. People are apparently calling her Emily Mary Melbourne in error. Emily was born 21 Apr 1887 and she died 11 Sep 1869,when she willed Brockett Hall to her grandson, the Seventh Earl Cowper. Emily married Peter on 20 Jul 1805, according to one source.

I have been to Brocket Hall. It was a fun experience. Brocket Hall was used as a hospital during WWII. Two Prime Minsiters of England are reported to have died there.
Ny grandfather visited there in 1931 and had tea with Lord Brockett at that time. I have color pictures of Brockett Hall, etc. I undertand that it is being used as a golf course now.
