I found the military info. on James Dawson Brockett. It looks like he drew a penion and then his wife drew a pension. His pension was application number 694843 certificate 850066 and Lizzie's application number was 918049 certificate number 682846. It appears he served in the A. 32. NY. Inf and I or J 3 NY L.A. or something.
It looks like you definitely have enough info. to find the actually applications, and that would probably give you Lizzie's maiden name and possibly their marriage date, etc.
It looks like she applied for her pension on 17 Apr 1909.
It looks like he applied for his pension on 1889 Mar 23 or 22. Both applications were made in Michigan.
You can print this out to help you order more info. from a National Archives, if your aunt hasn't already done that or maybe she can order it for you. There are National Archives all over the country. The nearest one to me is about 80 miles away.
Zoe
