Take a look at Richard Arwen's note on this forum, #417 of 5 SEP '05, and you will see the lineage that I accept as correct until someone shows me better.
Since I am connected to the Brocketts through my mother, I am useless in the Brockett Y DNA search. I hope more folks get on the sample list. There is no doubt of my line to John, but it might be instructive to know the lines of the descendants of John who show the Q haplog.
Anyway, I hope Richard's note is helpful.
