Hi Mike, Yes, there are 1000's of John's descendants out there. I know 2 or 3 besides me have been Y-DNA tested but I don't know who they are. That's one thing I would like to find out so we can compare data and family lines. The whole Q thing is a big question. Native American's are Q3 and we are Q2, so it is not native American.As near as I can find the Q haplogroup is rare in the UK; less than 2%.
We are all learning here so if anyone has any other info, please share.
