Yes, my mother's family still lives in and around the town of Brockwell. My gggrandfather was JAMES H. BROCKWELL who moved his family from OBION Co. TENN. to IZARD co. ARK. in the 1870's. His son GEORGE
BROCKWELL donated the land for the postoffice
and in return the town was named BROCKWELL.
I know the OBION county Brockwells came from Virginia about 1831 and statistically most of the Brockwell families were located in and around PRINCE GEORGE county. That's where I seem to be stuck. Well good luck in your searching. Perhaps we can meet sometime and exchange notes.
