Hi Sandra;
Now we may be making some progress ! If you check the 1870 OBION co census Civil Div # 1
Harris Station P.O. pg 47A you'l find...
I.(Isaac)R. (Robert) BROCKWELL 38 b. Va.
Emaline 36 Tn.
Mary E. 14 Tn.
John M. 13 Tn.
William 11 Tn.
James L.(or S) 6 Tn. (list on 1880 as JAMES T.)
Edward 2 Tn.
Martha Luker 29 Tn (sis-in-law)

Isaac was the oldest son of Edwin Thomas BROCKWELL and Sarah ANDREWS BROCKWELL both of Virginia (most probably Prince George Co. but as yet not proven) his brothers were William S. Brockwell, and James H> Brockwell (my gggrandfather) . A sister LURANA married George Washington Oliver.
These Brockwells moved into Obion co. about 1833. Edwin also had a brother JOHN who came to OBION then migrated to TEXAS and then came back to OBION.
You can find these people easily in the CD # 1 of OBION co. from 1840-1900
William S. Brockwell has a DEATH CERTIFICATE filed in NASHVILLE that records his mother's maiden name as ANDREWS
The 1880 also shows Isaac's family as...
Isaac Brockwell 48 Va. Va. Va.
Emaline 40 Tn. Tn. Tn.
John M. 22
William D. 20
James T. 15
Edward 12
Robert 10 Here's you ROBB
Ada 9
Ida 4
Martha Luker 38

Pretty good match I'd say. What do you think COUSIN ! :>
