Elizabeth Brockwell is my great, great, great, great grandmother. Only recently found this out. Luke Golding who she was married to was part of a Glemsford family going back to the 1500s - apparently wealthy wool traders who were responsible for much of the building of Glemsford church. The village has a website with a lot of interesting information.
I was interested to see your name is Copsey as that is the line I descend from. Elizabeth and Luke's daughter Charlotte married Joseph Copsey, their son Charles Copsey married Maria Orst and their daughter Charlotte Copsey married George Jarmin. Their daughter Ida Jarmin was my maternal grandmother.Would be interested to hear more from you.
