Dear Darla:

I am trying to find the parents of
Nathan P. Brogden who married
Lucinda Beard Washington in 1857

It appears to me that he could be the son
of Pierce and Amy Bread (or Beard ??) Brogden. ...

But: possibly he is the son of Nathan Brogden who married Keziah or Cuzziah Hood.

In this message, it appears that Nathan and Keziah had a son, Nathan P. Brogden.

In your message Re: 1820 to 1850 Census, also sent on June 12, 2000,

You have listed Nathan P. as a son of Pierce Brogden and Amy Bread.
b. 1829.

This seems to agree with the will for
Pierce Brogden dated and probated in 1854.

Question: Did both brothers, Pierce and Nathan Brogden.....have sons named Nathan P. Brogden. ?????

In my husband's family history, the parents of Louvenia Ellen Brogden; Marshall Brogden; and William "Butch" Brogden were
Nathan P. Brogden and Lucinda Washington
married Feb. 17, 1857

Do you have any information that would
clarify the parentage of this Nathan P. Brogden??

Ethel Stanton
