Gale,

Since you posted that message, have you found out anything further about George Brogden or Hope Brogden? I just found a pedigree that indicates Hope Jackson Brogdon/Brogden is a ggg gf of mine. The pedigree is accessible on the LDS FamilySearch website and was posted by Patrick K. Bogan. It has:

Hope Jackson BROGDON, b. 4 Nov 1813, Gwinnett Co., GA
d. 10 Apr 1873, Gwinnett Co., GA; bur. Level Cr. Cem.
m. Emily BOGAN (b. 12 Sep 1816, d. 9 Jun 1883 both in Gwinnett Co., GA).

I have only the name of one child of Hope and Emily: dau. Sarah Carolyn Brogdon, m. William Parks MOORE.

Patrick Bogan does not list the parents of Hope Brogdon/den. I was going to look for Hope but I just lost my access to Census Images Online (Ancestry.com) for unknown technical reasons.

Chuck
