I am looking for my ggggrandmother Caroline Brogden who married Van Buren Morris (from Morgan County AL). Morris was 17 and in Morgan Cty in 1850. I next find him in 1880 with his second wife. Based on info a great-granddaughter of his, Caroline would have died AFTER having a child, Robert S Morris, in 1876.
There was a James Brogden in 1850 living with an uncle of Van Buren Morris. The same had been in previous censuses with his own family.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
