I am seeking descendants of Beaty/Beattie and Mary Ann Brogdon in hope of finding new information about Beaty's father, John, and Beaty's siblings, all of Marion County, SC.
Beaty and Mary Ann had at least 5 children: Charles, b. ca1878; Mary b. ca1879; Edward b. ca1884; Leslie (son) b. ca1889; Julian/ius b. ca1894. In 1880,1900,and 1910 Beaty and Mary Ann lived in Marion County, SC, in Manning township. By 1930 all their children were gone from home and they lived in Robeson County, SC. If you know anything about this family I would love to hear from you. Maybe someone is doing research on Beaty and has historical information about his family.
