Any sign of a Peterson Gideon Brogden/on in that group in Fayette Co.? All the Brogden's that I have put my finger on in Georgia are from the group out of Gwinnett Co. My Peterson was in Butts Co., GA in 1830 and had married Talitha/Teletha/Tabitha D. Turner in 1826 in Butts Co. They moved to Jasper Co., GA and then to Tallapoosa Co., AL. He died in Elmore Co., AL between 1876-1880. I have not been able to establish parentage, however, according to all the census records they say he was born in NC.

There was a Peterson Brogden deed in Edgecomb County 1751. Don't know if that was his grandfather or not. Can't put my finger on him.
