One correction to the entry on A.J. Jr. He died of pneumonia several years after the gunshot wounds....despite the newspaper article in the Montgomery Advertiser August 23,1898 of his fatal injury. He was shot in the left arm, hip & stomach. He lost his hand from the wound. I have pictures taken of him afterwards.

"A.J. Fallaw, Jr., B: May 28, 1864, D: Jan. 6, 1909
Handwritten: Son, shot & killed by Father-in-law: Womack." He was shot in 1898, recovered to die of pneumonia in 1909.

His father-in-law, Lewis Green Womack, moved his family to Texas about 1900 leaving the Fallaw family behind in Butler County, AL.
WOMACK, GREEN (1900 U.S. Census)
Age: 50, Male, Race: WHITE, Born: AL
Series: T623 Roll: 1636 Page: 208
