Tammy Clark 2/20/04
This is my Grandfather.I was just looking here out of curiosity and found this obit listing.I'm not sure who Tammy Clark is.Tammy, are you related?I have a second cousin named Tami.At first I thought you might be her, but the spelling and last name are different.
Anyway, this was my Grandfather.I miss him.He was a good man.His wife’s name was Estella (Kusalitis) from Shenandoah, PA. He had three sons (Gerald, Allen, and John) and four grandsons (Terry, Todd, Troy, and Chris). His fifth grandson (John) was born after his passing and another grandson is on the way.He had three great-grandchildren. Two boys and a girl (Tyler, Jessie, Kyle).the girl was the first female Brokenshire born into our line since the Tami I mentioned. There is a 20+ year difference in age.Tami was the first since my Great Aunt Elva Mae, a 30+ year difference.
From what little I know about my Brokenshire heritage, my ancestors emigrated from England to Canada and then moved to the coal region of PA.Mahanoy City to be exact. Most of the family still lives in that area.My father and mother moved to the Allentown area before I was born, so our little group still lives in the Lehigh Valley. My brothers and I grew up in Whitehall, PA.Terry still lives in Whitehall.Todd, after many travels, settled in CO. I live in Bethlehem, PA.Terry is the one with the three kids.Todd and I do not have any children, yet.
Well, I guess that's all for now.I was here trying to see if I could find any information about the Brokenshire reunion that takes place in Canada.I'm not sure how often.I was invited a few years ago, but couldn't make it.I forget where it is now.If anyone knows anything about it, I’d appreciate you passing the info along.
Thanks for the surprise and for the chance to tell a little about my family.
